Impact Wave is an Active Gift in Code Vein. Impact Wave is a gift found in the Atlas Blood Code. Through Gifts, players may perform unique actions such as buffing and healing themselves and their Companions, debuffing Enemies or dealing direct damage to enemies.

Impact Wave Information

• Adds a shockwave effect to strike attacks for 30 seconds that deals additional area damage.
• Each shockwave deals roughly 35% of your current weapon's damage.

• Cooldown- 5 sec.
• Attack Type- Crush
• Non-Physical- (None)
• Usage Requirements- (None)

• Max Out Proficiency:
  • Kill enemies while equipping this gift or;
  • Use 18000 Haze and Awake MJ310 (x9) at a Mistle.

Impact Wave Notes

•  The Gift only triggers on weapon strikes that hit the ground, so large weapons like hammers are recommended. 
• Offensive Gifts can unleash a combo that strikes the ground, but these will never trigger a shockwave.

  • One handed Swords:
    • Machete, Sunset Sword, Executioner, Inferno Blade (special/combo attack only)
  • Greatswords: Forward and backward roll attacks.
    • Queenslayer Greatsword, Warped Blade, Black Great Sword, Wrathful Balmung (first light attack, and heavy attack)
    • Zweihander, Argent Wolf King's Blade (first light attack, and charged attack)
    • Oni Bane, Judgement Edge (Heavy attack only)
    • Argent Wolf Brand, Azure Greatsword (First light attack only)
  • Halberds: Backward roll attacks.
    • Queenslayer Halberd, Black Halberd (Last light attack only, and heavy attack)
