Shifting Hollow is an Active Gift in Code Vein. Gifts are acquired from obtaining different Blood Codes and by using the Mistle to Acquire/Inherit them; a certain amount of Haze is needed to unlock your preferred Gift and have required stats in order to equip these. Through Gifts, players may perform unique actions such as buffing and healing themselves and their Companions, debuffing Enemies or dealing direct damage to enemies.

- Special evasion skill that allows the wielder to dash forward in a mist form

- Cooldown: 0,5 sec.

- To max out its proficiency, players can:
- Defeat some enemies while equipping this gift.
- Use 280 Haze and 3x Awake MJ018 at a Mistle.

- Provides invulnerability frames, acting as a quick dodge regardless your mobility.

Sometimes I pretend I'm playing Code Vein, but in reality I'm playing Shifting Hollow Vein. That being said, this is a blessing to have on any heavier builds that have to fat roll and block for situations where you can't afford to do either.

The only downside is that I framing attacks with this doesn’t contribute to your focus bar, so if you main this skill, don’t add focus passives etc. This skill does not use stamina though; so that’s a good trade off since stamina is such an issue in the early game

This is Mist Raven in Sekiro but better thanks to the fact that your magic is rechargeable by attacking. It is extremely fast, allow you to counter instantly. The cost is so low that basically nothing and you will never run out of Ichor for this

Combine this with Increased Gift Speed and Gift Prowess to acquire pre-patch Bloodhound's Step.
