Savage Dive is an Active Gift in Code Vein. Savage Dive is a gift found in the Surt Blood Code. Through Gifts, players may perform unique actions such as buffing and healing themselves and their Companions, debuffing Enemies or dealing direct damage to enemies.

Savage Dive Notes

• Damage multiplier 165% / 275% with one handed swords. 115%/115% with halberds.
  • The first attack is a leap that lunges at the enemy. The second attack is a medium sized spin.
    • The second attack can cause knockdown on small enemies when using a sword.
    • The second hit can be cancelled early into a roll or block, in exchange for less damage.
    • The spin can change slightly its direction, at a 90° angle at most.
• Excellent gap closer for no stamina cost that allows to keep agression.
  
  • Swords benefit the most from damage, while Halberds benefit the most from range.
• At base gift speed, takes 2.0 seconds to cast before being able to perform another action.
• Equivalent distance covered from the initial leap:
  
  • 3.5 rolls at slow mobility.
  • 3 rolls at normal mobility.
  • 2.5 rolls at quick mobility.
  • 2 Shifting Hollow casts.
