Scathach Chrome
A highly valuable mineral made from a special ore mixed with blood. Ask Murasame to use this to transform a weapon or Blood Veil and imbue it with blazing properties. Creating a fire-specialized equipment at the cost of decreased weapon and Gift attack properties and reduced stat scaling

Scathach Chrome is a Crafting Material in Code Vein. Items are used for a variety of purposes, such as consumable buffs, key items, and as upgrade materials. Items can be looted from Enemies and/or Bosses, chests, given by NPCs, and are sold by Merchants.

Scathach Chrome Usage

• Ask Rin Murasame to use this to transform a weapon to imbue it with the Fire element.
• Ask Rin Murasame to use this to transform a Blood Veil to imbue it with resistance to the Fire element.

Scathach Chrome Locations

You may find Scathach Chrome in the following Locations:

• City of Falling Flame: Item on Map: In the part of the walkthrough named A Fallen City,  it would be nearby the Razed Cityscape Mistle.
• Drop-able: The fire enemies with antlers will drop these Chromes, in addition to Queen Steel, Flame Cartridges, and Condensed Loss (S).
  • Two of those enemies can be found at the first Mistle. Go forward and to the right to a dead end to find one enemy who walks out of a wall of flame. Take the other path forward from the Mistle, go past a pair of flame vents to another enemy. These can be farmed by resting at the Mistle.

Notes and Tips

• When used on Weapons: Decreases all of the Weapon's stats, setting them to one letter below (e.g: A to B, B+ to B etc), which lowers its scaling. Then, adds 50 to the respective element (Fire) on Attack and Defense.
  • If the weapon has innate elemental damage of its respective element, the elemental attack is increased by 20 instead (e.g: 50 becomes 70)
• When used on Blood Veils: Decreases all of the Blood Veil's stats, setting them to one letter below (e.g: A to B, B+ to B etc), which lowers its scaling. Then, adds 50 to the respective element (Fire) on Drain Attacks and Defense.
  • For fire defense purposes, Hedgehog Fort has the best availability to transform, and provides 100 fire defense.
    
    • Silver Garb provides more fire defense (2 points), but is found extremely late into the game.
