Darklord Mercenary is one of the Horror Hunting Trials in the Frozen Empress DLC in Code Vein. Completing this trial will reward you with "Badge: Yakumo (Dark Ver)". Horror Hunting Trails consist of different challenges that players can complete by fighting the Frozen Empress to earn rewards.
Horror Hunting Trials can be accessed through the altar located next to the Mistle of the Depths: Celestial Ice Prison.
