Machete is a Weapon in Code Vein. Machete is categorized as a One-Handed Sword weapon. Weapons can be found from Enemies and/or Bosses, acquired as a reward from completing quests, provided by NPCs, and are sold by Merchants.

A large cleaver seemingly made of a single chunk of steel. Created in a shop by a wild group of engineers, it was designed to combine the handling of a one-handed sword with the sheer power of a two-handed sword. However, it requires great strenght to use effectively due to its massive weight, and as such, few actually use the weapon.

Where to find Machete

• Area P-9 Ridge of Frozen Souls : In the part of the walkthrough named Ridge of Iced Cave, ou'll find yourself in an ice-covered underground path filled with enemies. Kill all the enemies, especially the Rotten Lost Knight - killing it will map the surrounding area, you'll also find another chest containing 1x Machete +5.
• Depths: Silent White: You'll face 2x Sword-wielding Lost and a Brute Executioner, there's a Queen Steel and Ichor Concentrate that you can pick up. Kill the enemies and then pick up the Scout Vestige A that's on the right side, also, make sure to find the RV Mastery (107) here and a chest containing 1x Machete Stun.
• Sold by Murasame after finding the +5 version in the Ridge of Frozen Souls.

Machete Notes and Tips

• The Physical Damage of the weapon is the Base Damage plus Scaling Damage. Scaling damage is based on your Character Level.
• Paired with the Black Saber as the best One-Handed Sword for STR builds.
• Highest attack power of all One-Handed Swords in the game with most builds. Good candidate for Severing Abyss and Flashing Fang.
