Queen Steel is a Crafting Material in Code Vein. Items are used for a variety of purposes, such as consumable buffs, key items, and as upgrade materials. Items can be looted from Enemies and/or Bosses, chests, given by NPCs, and are sold by Merchants.
Queen Steel Usage
- A Material used in crafting for Upgrading Weapons and Blood Veil up to +6.
Queen Steel Locations
You may find Queen Steel in the following Locations:
- Occasionally dropped by some enemies in mid-game areas after killing them.
- The earliest farmable instance of enemies dropping this material (in non-Depth Maps) is in the Cathedral of the Sacred Blood.
- Can be purchased from Coco at Home Base for 1,500 Haze each.
- This item is first available from her shop when reaching the Ridge of Frozen Souls, albeit in limited quantity (x5)
- This item then becomes available from her shop at unlimited quantity when reaching the Provisional Government Outskirts.
- Can be obtained in limited quantity from trading with Murasame.
- Each item costs 5 trading points to obtain
- Limited quantity of: x1, x2,
- Depths: Silent White: you'll face 2x Sword-wielding Lost and a Brute Executioner, there's a Queen Steel and Ichor Concentrate that you can pick up.
- Depths: Archanid Grotto: In the part of walkthrough named East Path from the Mistle, you'll face a Stone-crusher accompanied by two Spiked Female Lost Warrior - defeating the mini-boss rewards you with 11030 Haze and drops a Queen Steel and Loss Shard (L).
- Howling Pit: After following the flooded path that leads to the Invading Executioner, turn right at the final ramp to find a dead-end with 1x Queen Steel.
- Cathedral of the Sacred Blood: In the part of the walkthrough named The Cathedral, from the Mistle head down the stairs. You'll find an open arena and a Female Lost Warrior in the middle of the arena - kill it and pick up the item it dropped which is 1x Queen Steel.
- Cathedral of the Sacred Blood: In the part of the walkthrough named The Cathedral, defeating the Trial of Blood will reward you with 1x Loss Crystal (S), you can also obtain various items such as 1x Queen Steel and 1x Loss Shard (M) that are dropped by the enemy.
- Cathedral of the Sacred Blood: In the part of the walkthrough named The Cathedral, in an open arena that is being guarded by another Female Lost Warrior. Kill it, climb down the ladder that's on the right side of the arena, then drop down onto the surface below - you'll find 1x Queen Steel at the edge.
- Cathedral of the Sacred Blood: In the part of the walkthrough named The Cathedral, it would be close to a Mistle.
- Cathedral of the Sacred Blood: In the part of the walkthrough named The Cathedral, In the unlocked room, you'll find another Female Lost Warrior by the stairs and another at the top that is guarding an item, kill it and pick up 1x Queen Steel.
- Cathedral of the Sacred Blood: In the part of the walkthrough named The Cathedral, after encountering the unlocked the other door using the lever. From here, head back to the exit you came through and drop down onto the surface that's on the left side - you'll find 1x Queen Steel on the ground that you can pick up.
- Cathedral of the Sacred Blood: In the part of the walkthrough named Outlook Tower, from the first Mistle head outside, make a right, then left until you reach a dead-end, and follow the path ahead. You should find yourself on the other side of the cathedral where you'll see a rotten mistle across a broken path. Since you can't cross, go left, straight, then right until you reach another room - head inside and go up the stairs. Next, if you go right, you'll find 1x Queen Steel by the edge of the stairs. Pick it up and head in the opposite direction.
- Memories of Player : In the part of the walkthrough named Research Facility Area, you will encounter a Spiked Executioner patrolling the area and another at the end, so be cautious fighting the enemy in the narrow space. There's 3x Queen Steel that you can pick up at the end of the path.
- Memories of Player : In the part of the walkthrough named Military Storehouse, There's 1x Queen Steel that you can pick up by the ledge - You can ambush the enemies below to kill them quickly.
- Memories of Player : In the part of the walkthrough named Main Battlefield, After activating the Mistle, head towards the 2 Female Lost Warriors that's on the right side of the field, kill them for a chance to obtain 1x Queen Steel, then walk up to the corner next to the military truck where you'll find a chest containing 1x Night Fang +5
- Area P-9 Ridge of Frozen Souls : In the part of the walkthrough named Ridge of Frozen Souls, after activating the entrance Mislte, work your way through the narrow path until you encounter the first enemy, a Spiked Executioner - kill it, pick up 1x Queen Steel near the edge, and continue going up the narrow path.
- Ashen Cavern: In the part of the walkthrough named Ashen Cavern Entrance, near the Mistle where you'll find 2x Spiked Female Lost Warrior guarding a Vestige, kill the enemies and pick up the Artemis Vestige Part C and a Queen Steel or Loss Shard (L) that may be dropped by the enemy.
- Ashen Cavern: In the part of the walkthrough named Ashen Cavern Entrance, where you'll encounter more Spiked Lost and a couple of Purple Blob that's hanging from the ceiling - before reaching the spot indicated above, you should be able to pick up a Queen Steel, 1x Awake MJ212, and another Loss Shard (L) on the ground.
- Ashen Cavern: In the part of the walkthrough named Ashen Cavern Entrance, take the path that's on the left from where you fought the group of Spiked Female Lost Warriors - you'll encounter another group of enemies here, make sure to pick up 1x Condensed Loss Shard (M) and another Queen Steel on the ground after you've killed the enemies.
- Ashen Cavern: In the part of the walkthrough named Ashen Cavern Entrance, there will be more Purple Blob that will fall from the ceiling to ambush you and a Spiked Executioner that's patrolling the area. You should be able to acquire a few Loss Shard (L) and a Queen Steel that are dropped by the enemy, as well as 2x Dagger and 1x Awake MJ212 that's on the ground near the flowing water - there are more enemies patrolling the area, so be cautious if you're exploring the area alone.
- Ashen Cavern: In the part of the walkthrough named Towering Crags, From the Towering Crags Mistle, head to the path leading up where you'll see 2 Spiked Executioners that are sitting around an item and a patrolling Spiked Female Lost Warrior, kill the enemies and pick up a Queen Steel.
- City of Failing Flame: In the part of the walkthrough named A Fallen City, you proceed further and need a Queen Steel, you can jump down onto the surface filled lava where you can pick up the upgrade material.
- City of Failing Flame: In the part of the walkthrough named A Fallen City, Next, exit through the nearby path where you'll find yourself near the Rotten Volcanic Lost covered in blue flames. There's 1x Vivifier on the ground and a chest containing 1x Noble Silver +6 - head down the path, kill the enemy and climb up the nearby ladder where you'll find yourself back to where you jumped. Be cautious when fighting this enemy since it's attacks are fast, it can execute a charging attack, and an AoE attack where it sets an area on fire with blue flames - killing it will grant you 10147 Haze, drops a Queen Steel.
- Obtained as a reward from killing Depth Bosses in the following maps:
- Depths: Swirling Flood: Boss rewards after defeating Invading Executioner.
- Depths: Flood of Impurity: Boss rewards after defeating Invading Executioner
- Depths: Cliffs of Rust: Boss rewards after defeating Insatiable Despot.
- Depths: Silent White: Boss rewards after defeating Successor of the Breath
- Depths: Archanid Grotto Boss rewards after defeating Gilded Hunter
Notes and Tips
- Requires a total of 10 to upgrade a Weapon or Blood Veil to +6 (2, then 3, then 5)
- Costs a total of 3040 Haze to upgrade a Weapon or Blood Veil to +6 (960, then 1080, then 1200)
