Tormenting Blast is an Active Gift in Code Vein. Tormenting Blast is a gift found in the Atlas Blood Code. Through Gifts, players may perform unique actions such as buffing and healing themselves and their Companions, debuffing Enemies or dealing direct damage to enemies.

Tormenting Blast Notes

• Damage multiplier: 200% / 150% (350% total)
• The first attack is a spinning horizontal lunge, while the second is a frontal cleave.
  • The spin can change its direction at the start of the animation, at a 90° angle at most.
  • The cleave is always directed at the direction the spin moves into, and has slightly more frontal range.
  • This gift is uncancellable from start to finish.
• The whole gift has a duration of 2.0 seconds at base gift speed before the user can perform another action.
• The low cooldown make this gift a suitable candidate as an offensive gap closer.
• Distance covered equivalents:
  • Covers approximately 3 rolls in slow mobility.
  • Covers approximately 2 rolls in normal mobility.
  • Covers approximately 1.5 rolls in quick mobility.
