Subzero Shroud is a Blood Veil (Armor) in Code Vein. Blood Veils are categorized as both the player's armor and weapon which provides offensive and defensive stats - these can be found inside chests, dropped by enemies and/or bosses, acquired as a reward from completing quests, provided by NPCs, and are sold by Merchants.

A Blood Veil tattered by hoarfrost, optimized for defense and dark Gifts.

Where to find Subzero Shroud

The Frozen Empress DLC is required to acquire this Blood Veil.
This Blood Veil can be obtained by completing the Veteran's Strike trial which requires a player to:
- Fight against "Frozen Empress"
- Deal 20.000 or more damage with a single attack

Notes and Tips

Has the highest dark gift rating in the game (1854 at level 300 and S+ Willpower)
Its drain attacks are very weak since it has no Strength or Dexterity scaling

  Looks exactly like Winter Mantle, but dakr blue with white accents.

  This page needs to be updated. Requires willpower of A, with a rating of A+ for scaling with it. This veil gets the highest Dark Gift scaling in the game (At +10 intensification, and a Willpower of S+ at level 228, it has 1830 Dark. Tested using the Perseus Blood Code, with no passives or active stat buffs.) The biggest tradeoff is that it's also one of the heaviest "caster" veils in the game, at Weight 78.
