Regen Extension Factor
Medicine that permanently increases the number of times regeneration can be used. This factor extracted from the queen is properly known as "CS-512". Overuse leads to loss of self in many cases, so dosing is strictly limited"

Regen Extension Factor is an Item in Code Vein. Items are used for a variety of purposes, such as consumable buffs, key items, and as upgrade materials. Items can be looted from Enemies and/or Bosses, chests, given by NPCs, and are sold by Merchants.

Regen Extension Factor Usage

• Increases the number of times regeneration can be used, up to 10
• (You start the game with 3 regeneration uses)

Regen Extension Factor Locations

You may find Regen Extension Factor in the following Locations:
(Often found on glowing-white roots)

• Area D-12 Ruined City Underground : In the cavernous area just before the Natural Cavern Mistle, you will encounter 4x Purple Blob will fall from the roof. Keep going until you see some Boxes. Beware when you break them, 1x Sword-wielding Lost will strike you from inside of them. Climb the ramp, and on the top you’ll find 2x Sword-wielding Lost and 1x Regen Extension Factor.
• Ruined City Center: In the part of the walkthrough named Track the Human Girl, You will encounter a Sword-wielding Lost waiting behind a truck. Kill it then walk up to the glowing roots to acquire the item.
• Howling Pit: From the second mistle, check near the eastern edge for the tell-tale glowing-white roots.
• Ashen Cavern: In the part of the walkthrough named Towering Crags, Before going left from where you picked up the Queen Steel, continue going up until you reach a narrow path that's being guarded by a frenzied Spiked Female Lost Warrior, kill it, pick up 2x Step Booster and 1x Regen Extension Factor that's ahead.
• Crown of Sand: In the part of the walkthrough named Crown of Sand Entrance Mistle, You'll find yourself in a section that has a sandpit below you and 2x Parched Executioners patrolling the area. Fight your way through the executioners, head down the sandpit and pick up 1x Regen Extension Factor that's on the middle of the pit.
• Crypt Spire: In the part of the walkthrough named Crypt Spire Entrance, After acquiring the vestige, head back down, go back to where you came from and make your way towards the Lost Knight as indicated on the image above. There's two of them here you'll encounter, so be cautious if you're going in alone - once you've killed the enemies, continue going straight and you'll find 1x Regen Extension Factor by the glowing vines.
• Provisional Government Outskirts: In the part of the walkthrough named Provisional Government Outskirts Entrance, follow the path then stop by the ladder. You'll see a Female Lost Warrior ahead that's guarding an item ahead. Kill it and you'll find 1x Regen Extension Factor by the glowing vines - after acquiring the upgrade item, climb up the ladder and you'll find a vestige, Eos Vestige Part D.

• Extension Factors can only be replaced by playing through the game again in New Game Plus.
