Oni Bane is a Weapon in Code Vein. Oni Bane is categorized as a Two-Handed Sword weapon. Weapons can be found from Enemies and/or Bosses, acquired as a reward from completing quests, provided by NPCs, and are sold by Merchants.

The sword that has seen Yakumo through countless battlefields.

Made with a different technique from most weapons in the world of Vein, it was built to be swung wide while moving, despite its large size. Yakumo received it from the same revenant who gave Louis his weapon, and he has further customized it to fit his style.

Oni Bane Notes and Tips

The Physical Damage of the weapon is the Base Damage plus Scaling Damage. Scaling damage is based on your Character Level.
Same light attacks of the Nagimukuro, making the gift Impact Wave uneffective except for the heavy attack.
Compared to the Nagimukuro:
- Higher base damage: 248 vs. 215
- Higher STR scaling: A vs. C+
- Lower DEX scaling: E vs. B
- Slightly heavier: 78 vs. 75
- Lower physical defense: 86/80/80 vs. 90/85/85
- Overall, the Oni Bane is stronger with a STR focused build, while the Nagimukuro is better with a more balanced build.

  can effectively carry through the whole game. one of the best sword. Its base attack and scaling is very high. I have it at plus 10, fortification, atlas code and greatsword mastery plus some strength passives. 2k total dmg with normal mobility.

  Oni Bane moveset is actually very good, even tough it might not seem to be. Standard 2x atack is fast and it's stronger than Judegement Edge dual heavy slash, tough Judgement edge deals better with crowds. R1+X which is roll can be used 2 ways. 1 st to close distance which is not so good, 2nd way to to use it close to enemy we have lock on then you either will move behind their back for easy backstab or will make em fall which is good too. Hard attack have block after sword is in front of character and the hit break block instantly. Good vs enemies with shields cause they can't parry it. Charing heavy attack.... nothing to say about it. It suppsed to helps dealing with crowds but it's slow so hard to use, but if you have time to pull it off it works. All in all i would say it has one of better moveset as it's quite mobile and fast for greatsword. Argent Wolf King's Blade is better stats wise, but beside it's heavy attack rest of it's moveset is quite clunky and leave you exposed a lot, tough it's heavy attack is still OP as hell.

  This sword is a nod to the god eater games which Bandai and Shift(not GE3) made as the 2h swords could do a parry as the start up to an attack. This could only be in GE3 but still its a nod.

  It blocks, but only after the sword is in front off you. It doesn't block when you are getting into stance so it's tricky getting used to do it.
