A key stained green by moss. Its original color and any ornamentation are completely hidden by moss, a sign of how much time has passed since the world changed.

Moss-covered Key is an Item in Code Vein. Items are used for a variety of purposes, such as consumable buffs, key items, and as upgrade materials. Items can be looted from Enemies and/or Bosses, chests, given by NPCs, and are sold by Merchants.

Moss-covered Key Usage

Howling Pit: Unlocks the water-drain lever found by following the path to the left of the Eagle Key Gate.

Howling Pit : In the part of the walkthrough named "bottomless shore", after opening the gate with the Eagle Key, make a right, you'll find another elite lost wielding a heavy sword sitting, kill it to obtain the Moss-covered Key
