Inferno Blade is a Weapon included in the Hellfire Knight DLC in Code Vein. Inferno Blade is categorized as a One-Handed Sword weapon. Weapons can be found from Enemies and/or Bosses, acquired as a reward from completing quests, provided by NPCs, and are sold by Merchants.

A Single-edged sword scorched by hellfire. Light, with high strength scaling.
Even with high strenth scaling, it is still very light.
The chrimsom-burned blade houses a powerful flame that imbues the weapon's charged attacks with fire.

Where to find Inferno Blade

• The Hellfire Knight DLC is required to acquire this Weapon.
• Can be acquired by compleating the Destroyer trial which requires you to:
  
  • Defeat "Hellfire Knight"
  • Fight only using a One-Handed Sword (Gift/drain attacks OK)
  • Allow your HP to reach 0 no more than 3 times
• Sold by Rin Murasame after completing the Destroyer trial.

Inferno Blade Notes and Tips

• The Physical Damage of the weapon is the Base Damage plus Scaling Damage. Scaling damage is based on your Character Level.
• Requires A Strength to be used.
• Same moveset of the Sunset Sword, making the Inferno Blade (especially when paired with high fortitude, light weight armor) have high swing outputs that allow for quick dodging or guarding in between.
• Charged heavy attacks cost 2 ichor and temporarily provide additional fire damage similar to Flame Weapon.
  • The fire buff persists even while swapping weapon.
• Has the highest STR scaling of all One-Handed Swords, however the lack of any DEX scaling makes other weapons like the Black Saber deal more damage even with a Strength build.
  • (Additional Note to the above: Despite the higher numbers of the Black Saber, because of its light weight and swing animation, you have the chance to get the same / similar damage output in the same amount of time.)
