Heavy Axe is a Weapon in Code Vein. Heavy Axe is categorized as a Two-Handed Hammer weapon. Weapons can be found from Enemies and/or Bosses, acquired as a reward from completing quests, provided by NPCs, and are sold by Merchants.

It was designed for slaying Lost giants, but the lack of tools in the harsh world of Vein means it is also used to demolish old buildings and clear vegetation.

 

Where to find Heavy Axe

• Found inside the first chest at the very start of  Ruined City Underground.
• An Heavy Axe Fortification can be found inside a chest in the Depths: Den of the Dead.
• Sold by Rin Murasame for 3500 Haze after finging any version of it.

 

Heavy Axe Notes and Tips

• The Physical Damage of the weapon is the Base Damage plus Scaling Damage. Scaling damage is based on your Character Level.

Its moveset varies between sweeps and slams. All slams can trigger Impact Wave.

• Light attack chain consists of 2 sweeps from side to side.
  • Despite the visuals, this attack only has 180° angle coverage on front.
  • The first sweep moves the user forward slightly, while the second moves the user forward very slightly.
• Special/Combo attack makes the user perform a forward twirl that slams the axe down.
  • Distance covered is equivalent to 1 roll on slow mobility.
  • Total reach is equivalent to 1 roll on normal mobility.
• Heavy attack is a forward slide that sweeps in a 300° angle
  • Distance covered is equivalent to 1 roll on slow mobility.
• Charged attack consists of 3 twirling slams, each stronger than the last.
  • Distance covered is equivalent to 1 roll on normal mobility.
  • Total reach is equivalent to 2 rolls on slow mobility.
  • This attack has a total damage multiplier of x2.25 split uneven between the three attacks, before factoring resistances.
