Broadsword is a Weapon in Code Vein. Broadsword is categorized as a One-Handed Sword weapon. Weapons can be found from Enemies and/or Bosses, acquired as a reward from completing quests, provided by NPCs, and are sold by Merchants.

A wide, double-edged sword mass-produced by the provisional government.

Designed for sheer power, if swung with the entire body, it can bring down even giant specimens of the Lost. Its ease of use makes it a common sight in the hand of both heroes and villains in the world of Vein.

Where to find Broadsword

• Dried-up Trenches (+3 version)
• Depths: Cliffs of Rust: you will find a chest containing 1x Broadsword Alleviation which also triggers a trial of the blood. It is where you found the first key and investigate the section.
• Sold by Rin Murasame after finding the +3 version in the Dried-up Trenches.

Broadsword Notes and Tips

• The Physical Damage of the weapon is the Base Damage plus Scaling Damage. Scaling damage is based on your Character Level.
• Highest weapon defense of all One-Handed Swords in the base game (with the exception of the Fulmen Blade of the DLC).
• Basic attacks are a two hit chain in a cross motion.
• Heavy attack makes a frontal cleave from left to right
• Charged Attack performs a forward spin that hits in a half circle radius to the direction of the attack.
