Bewitching Thorn is a Blood Veil (Armor) in Code Vein. Blood Veils are categorized as both the player's armor and weapon which provides offensive and defensive stats - these can be found inside chests, dropped by enemies and/or bosses, acquired as a reward from completing quests, provided by NPCs, and are sold by Merchants.

A Blood Veil tattered by hoarfrost. Although heavy, it offers high dexterity scaling.

Where to find Bewitching Thorn

• The Frozen Empress DLC is required to acquire this Weapon.
• This weapon can be obtained by completing the Attacker  trial which requires a player to:
  • Defeat "Frozen Empress"
  • Land 10 attacks in a row without taking damage

Notes and Tips

• Completely physical-oriented Blood Veil. Make sure to use it on Blood Codes that don't need Light or Dark Gift ratings.
• Strengths:
  
  • High Drain Attack Power for DEX builds
  • Very light
  • High defense against Ice and Lightning
  • High resistance against Stun and Inhibition
• Weaknesses:
  • Awful Gift Power due to the lack of any MND/WIL scaling
  • Low physical defenses 
  • Very low defense against Blood and Fire
  • Very high Dexterity required to use it
